Coralville's Human Resource / Risk Management Director is Mike Funke. The Department is responsible for:
Developing job descriptions
Compiling benefits packages
Fulfilling the staffing needs of the City through coordination of the hiring process
Overseeing the implementation of all federal, State, and City safety requirements
Administering City employment practices, including salary administration, job evaluations, medical programs, and the review of personnel policies
Directing labor relations
Reviewing and regularly updating auto and general liability insurance to ensure adequate coverage
Performing a variety of other functions that relate directly to the employee workforce of the City
and how to apply.
