Youth Baseball & Softball

Program Description
Sun and green grass mean it's time to play ball!  Games are played in Coralville, North Liberty, and Solon in conjunction with the North Liberty Youth Baseball and Softball league and the Solon Parks and Recreation Department.  This is typically a 12 to 14 game season, plus tournament.

Season Information
  • Dates: Mid-April through late June 2016
  • Times: Varied
  • Location: Coralville, North Liberty, and Solon
  • Practice: On an alternate day of the week, to be determined.
  • Teams: Formed by the school each child attends. If there are not enough kids or coaches per school to form a team, they will be assigned with another school.
  • Coaches: Volunteer coaches are needed.
Coralville offers the following leagues for the summer season:
  • Junior: Junior baseball and softball is for youth ages 9 and 10, and it begins our player pitched leagues.
  • Senior: Senior baseball and softball is our most advanced league.  Boys and girls ages 11 to 13 years old are eligible.
Registration Information
Register online, or in person at the Coralville Recreation Center.
  • Price: $45 for residents, $56.25 for non-residents
  • Registration Deadline: March 6, 2016
