Starting Tuesday, July 13, the Iowa River Trail will be closed between Iowa River Power Company Restaurant parking lot and E. 7th Street. The closure is needed for construction of a storm water pump station for the 1st Avenue Corridor Flood Recovery and Protection Project. Pedestrians may detour around this area using 1st Avenue and E. 7th Street. This section of trail will remain closed until November 2010.
