Learn How to Ride Coralville Transit at Bus Open House on September 27

Bus Open House

Taking the bus is an efficient way to get around town. But if you are not familiar with the public transit system, you might need help to figure out how, where, or when to catch the bus.

Coralville Transit is hosting a bus open house during the free Coralville Community Meal on Friday, September 27, from 5:00 to 7:00 pm at Northwest Junior High School, 1507 8th Street.

Tour Coralville Transit buses, meet bus drivers and ask questions, find out what bus to take, and learn about the basics of getting on—and off—the bus. Discover how to transfer between the Coralville Transit and Iowa City Transit systems, and get information about Coralville’s “Park and Ride” commuter program.  Bike riders can also learn how to take their bike for a ride on the bus, and can practice loading and unloading the bus bike rack. Toby the talking bus will also make a special appearance.

For more information, call 319.248.1790 or visit www.coralville.org/BusOpenHouse
