Most events associated with Coralville's 4thFest, a long-time Independence Day tradition, have been cancelled for 2020 as a result of COVID-19, including the 4thFest 5k. The fireworks, held on the night of July 4, are scheduled. About 4thFest

4thFest 5K
Kick off your 4thFest with the 2019 4thFest 5K on Saturday, June 29, at 8:00 am. The first 75 entries are guaranteed a t-shirt.
Kids' Mini-Marathon
At approximately 8:45 am, children up to age 8 can participate for free in the 4thFest Firecracker Kids Mini-Marathon (26.2 yards). No registration needed.
Course & Awards
The 5K is hilly, has two water stations, and starts and finishes near the Coralville Recreation Center. Parking is available across the street at Northwest Junior High School. Maps are available at the Coralville Recreation Center. View 5K routeAwards will be given to the overall male and female winners, and the top three finishers in each age group: 19 and under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, and 50 and over.
