Ribbon Cutting: TAKO Rotary Shelter at Rotary Camp Park

A ribbon cutting ceremony and open house will be held at Rotary Camp Park to celebrate the completion of the TAKO Rotary Shelter. An open house will be held from 4:30-6:00 pm with remarks from the Rotary Club of Coralville-North Corridor, TAKO (Take a Kid Outdoors), and Mayor of Coralville, Meghann Foster at 5:15 pm.
Parking
Parking will be available on Camp Cardinal Road near the entrance of the park at 713 Camp Cardinal Road. The road will be closed to through traffic during the event. Entrance to the park and parking will be at the intersection of Camp Cardinal Road and Camp Cardinal Boulevard.
About TAKO Rotary Shelter
The TAKO Rotary Shelter is a collaborative project between Take a Kid Outdoors, a non-profit organization dedicated to introducing kids and families to outdoor activities, Rotary Club of Coralville-North Corridor, and the City of Coralville. The shelter will be used for youth activities and drop in park use.
