The City of Coralville will hold an open house on Tuesday, July 26, 2016, from 5:30 to 6:30 pm in the Council Chambers, Coralville City Hall, 1512 7th Street, to receive public input on a Road Safety Audit.
The main objective of the Road Safety Audit was to address the operation of roadways, sidewalks, and crossings to identify and recommend safer routes for children walking and bicycling to and from school. This Road Safety Audit was conducted in response to busing changes approved by the Iowa City Community School District that will begin with the 2016-2017 school year.
This Road Safety Audit was performed by a multi-disciplinary team led by Metropolitan Planning Organization of Johnson County (MPOJC) staff.
Representatives from MPOJC and City staff will be present to provide information and respond to questions or concerns about this audit.
The Road Safety Audit can be viewed at the Coralville Public Library, City Clerk's Office, and Building/Engineering Department at City Hall or at the link below.
