[ARCHIVED] Recycle Holiday Lights in Coralville

Recycle holiday lights

The City of Coralville is again offering seasonal holiday light recycling at drop-off sites throughout Coralville. Recycling holiday lights is a free, environmentally-friendly alternative to sending old, unused, or non-working strings of holiday lights to the landfill.

Please do not place holiday lights in your curbside recycling bin. From November 21, 2016, through January 9, 2017, drop off unwanted strings of holiday lights in collection bins at:

  • Coralville Hy-Vee, Lantern Park Plaza (1914 8th St.)
  • Stuff, Etc. (2818 Commerce Dr.)
  • Coralville City Hall (1512 7th St.)
  • Coralville Recreation Center (1506 8th St.)
  • Coralville Recycling Center (110 E. 7th St.)

This program is courtesy of the City of Coralville and Petersen Iron and Metal. For more information, please call 319.248.1740.
