The Metropolitan Planning Organization of Johnson County (MPOJC) is developing its next long-range transportation plan, Future Forward 2050: Connecting Communities. This plan will help guide metropolitan area decisions about transportation improvements and investments for the next 25 years.
The plan considers all types of transportation and makes specific recommendations for transportation projects and funding for Coralville, Iowa City, North Liberty, Tiffin, University Heights, and portions of unincorporated Johnson County. The development of the Future Forward 2050 Transportation Plan is a requirement for securing state and federal funding for transportation projects.
If you live, work, attend school, or do business in Johnson County, please share your input and take an online survey at www.surveymonkey.com/r/2050LRTP. This brief survey asks questions about your transportation needs in our community.
The survey will remain open until March 12, 2021. All responses are anonymous and the complete survey results will be used at a series of virtual workshops held in late March and early April.
