The Office of Mayor and three City Council positions will be on the ballot for the 2021 Coralville city election on November 2.
Running for OfficeCandidates running for Coralville City Council or Mayor may officially declare their candidacy by filing nomination papers with the Johnson County Auditor during the filing period from August 23 through September 16, 2021, at 5:00 pm.
Coralville's nomination process is nomination by petition, with one election. Candidates are required to have a minimum of 25 signatures from registered voters residing in Coralville on their petitions. Nomination papers can be picked up at the Johnson County Auditor's Office, 913 S. Dubuque Street, Iowa City, or at the Iowa Secretary of State website.
