Individuals and community organizations are invited to set up a display in S.T. Morrison Park on Sunday evening, December 11, to celebrate our cultures and traditions
As part of Coralville’s annual Aisle of Lights events, Coralville is hosting displays in S.T. Morrison Park on the evening of Sunday, December 11, 2022. This special event involves area non-profits, the local worship community, and other community organizations sharing their cultures and traditions as people stroll through a candlelit park.
Whether you celebrate Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, Christmas, or the snowy season, we are inviting area churches, organizations, and businesses to put together a display in S.T. Morrison Park on Sunday, December 11. This event, called One Coralville, Bright Future, honors the many ways our community celebrates the season of lights, or helps others during this season. Displays can contain music, carolers, displays, candles, educational posters, or be a social gathering with a food to try or a hot drink to enjoy.
Display DetailsThe displays will be along the path from Fireside Shelter to Hilltop Shelter. Decorate a space with battery-powered lights, candles, and/or decorations meaningful to your culture, organization, or family. Displays can be stand-alone or “staffed” for people-to-people interaction. Displays should follow these guidelines:
