At the Coralville City Council meeting on Tuesday, January 10, 2023, the City Council approved an ordinance to increase parking ticket fees. The change will increase the fine for parking illegally from $10 to $25, effective January 15, 2023. By state law, if not paid within 30 days, the fine increases by $5.00.  

The current $10.00 parking fine has remained unchanged for over 20 years.
