See information below from the Iowa DOT regarding a change in traffic control that will impact northbound 1st Avenue starting Wednesday, April 12, 2023. 

On northbound 1st Avenue from April 12, 2023, and continuing through July 28, 2023: Northbound traffic on 1st Avenue wanting to head eastbound on I-80 will merge with northbound through traffic and then turn right at the I-80 eastbound ramp intersection with 1st Avenue. Dates subject to change based on weather and unforeseen circumstances.
