The ordinance regulates size, location, and setbacks for temporary and permanent signs, and sets minimum sign design, structural, and safety standards. Learn about the proposed changes to the sign ordinance and provide input at a bring-your-own brown bag lunch meeting at West Bank in Coralville; drinks will be provided. Homebuyer Assistance Available
Program aids first-time homebuyers with down payment & repair fundsFirst-time homebuyers in Coralville may be eligible for down payment assistance and home repair funds. The Homebuyer Assistance Program is administered by the East Central Iowa Council of Governments (ECICOG) in Cedar Rapids, with funding through the Iowa Finance Authority HOME Program and matching funds from the Housing Trust Fund of Johnson County. Lettuce Plant, Dig, & Grow!Registration opens for community gardensRegistration begins on February 27 for plots at the Coralville Community Gardens at 900 E. 10th Street. The gardens feature two plot sizes: 10’ x 30’ and 10’ x 15’ plots, as well as 8’ x 4’ accessible, raised beds adjacent to handicapped parking. Water spigots, mulch, a communal tool shed, and a garden waste disposal area are on site. Learn more
