FRYfest is a Hawkeye heaven

Kick off the Hawkeye athletic season at a celebration of all that is Hawkeye in Coralville's Iowa River Landing!

This year highlights Kinnick traditions and features panel discussions with members of the 2004 football team and the 2019 Hall of Fame class. FRYfest includes the latest Hawkeye swag to purchase, Hawkeye trivia, a kids zone, pep rally, blood drive, and collectors documentary. All events, except the High Porch Block Party, are free. FRYfest

2019 Coralville Election

City Candidates Can Make It Official

Are you planning to run for city office?

Coralville residents running for Mayor or City Council in the November 2019 City Election can file their candidacy with the Johnson County Auditor through September 19. Candidates are required to have a minimum of 25 signatures from registered voters residing in Coralville on their petitions.
 
Being familiar with past and current council actions, along with a strong civic understanding, are crucial for a newly-elected official to hit the ground running. Check out our resources to get familiar with our city government. City election


Coral Ridge Ave improvements

Construction Update

Coral Ridge Avenue

The last stretch of work on Coral Ridge Avenue from Oakdale Boulevard to Forevergreen Road is nearing substantial completion. Late Friday afternoon, August 30, all lanes at the Coral Ridge Avenue/Forevergreen Road intersection will be open.

September 20-22

Presented by City Circle Theatre Company. Pastor Paul's church has grown to a congregation of thousands, and Paul is about to preach a sermon that will shake the foundations of his church's belief. A big-little play about faith and the trouble with changing your mind.

October 25-27

Presented by Young Footliters Youth Theatre. From the creators of Junie B. Jones The Musical comes a heartwarming musical about the joys of growing up. A plucky advice-giver-extraordinaire directs the neighborhood kids in a series of buoyant production numbers for her "Advice-a-Palooza."

What's Happening at the Library 

Do you have a Coralville Public Library card? 

In addition to traditional library services, a library card allows Coralville residents free access to ebooks, eaudiobooks, digital magazines, and a streaming video service.

Your first card is free! Just bring in a picture ID and something with your current address. If you lost your library card, get a free replacement card during the month of September. Library cards

Erase your library fines with food for fines

All September

Bring a donation to the library for the Coralville Community Food Pantry, and any new or existing late fees on your account will be erased. Non-perishable foods, personal care items, or monetary donations are accepted. Food for fines
