Coralville, the City of Iowa City, and the University of Iowa are hosting public open houses for the community to learn more about the Iowa City Area Transit Study and provide input on the transit systems.

Veterans Day HolidayFree bus rides for veteransMonday, November 11On Monday, veterans and eligible veterans using ADA paratransit can ride Coralville Transit for free; veterans should show a military ID when boarding the bus.
What's open, what's closed Monday, November 11In honor of Veterans Day, City offices and the library will be closed on Monday. Coralville Transit will run normal routes and schedules. Trash and recycling pickup will be one day later than usual all week. Veterans Day schedule

Yard Waste CollectionYard waste pickup ends in late November, weather permittingCoralville biodegradable yard waste bags are available for $5/pack of five at Coralville Hy-Vee stores, Theisen's, and City Hall. Remember, only Coralville biodegradable yard waste bags will be picked up; we can't accept others.If you use a 33-gallon container, annual yard waste stickers are $25 at City Hall. Parks Prepare for WinterWinter is coming, and Parks and Recreation staff are preparing Coralville's park areas for winter.
Park and trailhead restrooms are closed for the season. Once the snow falls, roadways with sharrows will be plowed curb-to-curb for bicycle commuters, and side paths (overwide sidewalks) will be plowed by either the adjacent business or by the City.
