If you are a renter, the stop service date is typically your lease end date. If you are an owner, the stop service date is typically your closing date. Stopping service prior to the lease end date or closing date may result in an incorrect billing period.
If you have a deposit, it will be applied to the final bill and any remainder will be refunded to the account holder. Deposit refunds are processed two to four weeks after the termination of service and are mailed to the account holder separately from the final bill.
