Jereme is a 1996 graduate of the University of Northern Iowa with a BA in Criminology. 
Jereme joined the Coralville Police Department in 1999 after four years as an officer in Ottumwa and one year as a deputy for Black Hawk County. He is a certified firearms instructor and the team leader for the Emergency Response Team. In April 2017 he was promoted from patrol officer to sergeant and supervises the PM shift.
